- In regards to a trailer wheel and tire assembly, the psi rating comes from the trailer tire and valve stem. Therefore, if the psi rating of the valve stem exceeds that of the trailer tire you will not have any issues. The trailer wheel itself does not have any sort of psi rating. The highest rated valve stem we offer is the Americana Metal, Bolt-In Valve Stem part # AM20906 which is rated for over 100 psi.
